What is caffé latté?

I'm not an expert of coffee, but I'm sure I know coffee.

What is caffé latté?
Basically, a drink made by adding a shot of espresso to a glass or cup of frothy steamed milk.

What is Americano?
is a style of coffee prepared by adding hot water to espresso, giving a similar strength but different flavor from regular drip coffee. The drink consists of a single or double-shot of espresso combined with between 1 and 16 fluid ounces (30 - 470ml) of hot water.

What is Cappuccino?
coffee made with milk that has been frothed up with pressurized steam.

What is Macchiato?
espresso coffee with a dash of frothy steamed milk.

For many Malaysian, coffee is just 'kopi'. Like, Kopi (Coffee with condensed milk), Kopi O (Black coffee with a lot of sugar), Kopi Gao (Coffee with extra heavy flavor or less sugar), Kopi Bing(Iced coffee with condensed milk). For them, they thought they know hell lot about coffee, they are the God of coffee. For them, latte is 'kopi', cappuccino is 'kopi' everything is 'kopi'

Well, I won't judge them. Because I don't really know the different between 'yellow curry' and 'green curry'. (Because I couldn't see the colour...)
Anyway, If there's something that I don't know. I'm willing to learn and accept.

Unfortunately, not everyone willing to learn and accept. The worst part is, they don't even admit that they were wrong sometimes. I think being ignorance wasn't a fault, but being ignorance and not will to learn...is pathetic.

Some of my diners complained about my caffé latté. At first, I thought it was my problem, maybe my bartender didn't make it in a right way. So, I changed another one for the diners who complained. But in the end, I realized that it was actually because of they didn't even know what 'caffé latté' was.

'Hey you, come here! Why my latte have milk in it? I told you it taste milky.' they said.

They thought, 'caffé latté' was just another term of 'Kopi' So i tried to explain to them, but they were just not listening. Oh well, what to do?

Honestly, I hope that diners could ask me if they confused about the menu or if they don't understand the menu. At least, it's good for both of us. And again, think twice before you're going to complain or blame anyone.
